ARC at Innovation for Cool Earth Forum

TOKYO, JAPAN– Robert Braun, Senior Vice President and COO of Advanced Reactor Concepts LLC (ARC), represented the company at the 2018 meeting of the “Innovation for Cool Earth Forum” held October 10-11, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.  Mr. Braun participated in a panel discussion entitled “Small Modular Reactors for Nuclear”. He was joined on the panel by Dr. Jose Reyes, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of NuScale Power, Dr. Yutaka Sagayama, Assistant to the President of Japan Atomic Energy Agency and Julio Friedman, Associate at Energy Futures Initiative.

Since 2014, every year the Government of Japan has hosted the Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF), gathering international leading figures tackling climate change through technological innovation in Tokyo, Japan. Initiated by Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, ICEF brings the world’s best minds together to solve the 21st century’s greatest environmental challenges.

ICEF’s mission is to nurture discussion and collaboration among participants and to disseminate innovations in energy and environmental technology to participants and beyond.
